MedLog Pro – Account & Data Deletion

MedLog Pro is committed to protecting user privacy and ensuring full transparency regarding how your data is handled. This page explains how users can delete their account, remove individual log entries, and understand what data is deleted or retained.

1. Delete Individual Log Entries (Without Deleting Account)

You can delete any individual entry you have created without deleting your entire account. To delete an entry:

Open the MedLog Pro app.
Navigate to your main logs or tracking screen.
Select the specific training entry you want to delete.
Tap the Delete button.
Confirm deletion when prompted.

This action permanently deletes the selected record from our servers and cannot be undone.

2. Delete Your Entire Account & All Associated Data

You may delete your MedLog Pro account at any time. This will permanently remove:

Your user account credentials
All logged training entries and professional records
Uploaded educational images and milestone templates
Notes, tags, and custom metadata

How to request account deletion:

Option 1: Inside the App (Immediate Deletion)

Open the MedLog Pro app.
Go to the "Profile" Tab from the navigation bar.
Select "Delete Account & All Data" at the bottom of the page.
Confirm the deletion request.

Option 2: Web/Email Request (Manual Processing)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can request manual deletion by contacting us directly via email at jamaalbutt@gmail.com.

Please send the email from the address registered to your MedLog Pro account.
Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity via email before permanently wiping your data.

Once confirmed, your account and all associated training log data are permanently deleted from our servers. This process is irreversible.

3. What Data Is Deleted?

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Account credentials (email, Firebase authentication ID)
All user-generated training log entries
Uploaded images, diagrams, and tracking sheets
Notes, tags, and custom professional logs
App usage telemetry explicitly linked to your account

4. What Data Is Retained?

MedLog Pro does not retain any personally identifiable data after account deletion.

However, for technical security and platform protection, Firebase may retain anonymized backend technical logs for a short period (such as crash analytics or device identifiers). These logs are entirely aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.

5. How Long Does Deletion Take?

Account and data deletion is processed immediately once you confirm the deletion inside the app. For email requests, please allow up to 7 business days for identity verification and manual processing.
