End User License Agreement (EULA)
for MedLog Pro
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legal agreement between you and the developer of MedLog Pro.
By downloading, installing, or using MedLog Pro, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the application.
MedLog Pro is intended exclusively for advanced trainees, professional students, and educational supervisors and is not for general public use.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MedLog Pro, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this EULA.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately uninstall and discontinue use of the application.
MedLog Pro is intended exclusively for advanced training documentation and must not be used by members of the general public or for non-educational tracking purposes.
2. Purpose of the Application
MedLog Pro is a professional education logbook application designed to help trainees, residents, and academic supervisors document entries, technical procedures, and curriculum training activities.
The app is not a clinical record system and must not be used as a substitute for institutional registries, official database architectures, or live operational documentation systems.
3. User Responsibility for Data Permissions
You, the user, acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for obtaining appropriate permissions or authorization before collecting,
entering, or uploading any training-related tracking data, including verification photographs, milestone reports, or log summaries.

You must ensure that all training documentation complies with your local institution’s or training board’s operational, legal, and privacy requirements.

MedLog Pro and its developer do not assume responsibility for authorization or data entry violations committed by users.
4. Compliance With Institutional Policies
You agree that:

You will comply with all applicable institutional, departmental, academic, and regulatory policies regarding
the handling, storage, and transmission of de-identified professional log information.

You will not upload any data that violates confidentiality, institutional guidelines, or compliance rules.

You are responsible for ensuring that the use of MedLog Pro is permitted within your training facility or educational organization.
The developer is not liable for any misuse of the app or policy violations committed by users.
5. User Responsibility for Data Disposal
Upon discontinuation of your account, resignation from your training track, or completion of your academic rotation:

You are responsible for the proper disposal, deletion, or transfer of any user-generated training records you have uploaded.

You must follow your training body’s data retention and disposal frameworks.

Failure to properly clear academic tracking files may result in disciplinary action by your local training institution.
MedLog Pro provides secure deletion tools, but the ultimate responsibility for compliance with institutional and data governance standards rests entirely with the user.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Upload tracking logs or milestones without appropriate institutional authorization.
- Upload misleading, false, or fabricated professional tracking records.
- Share your logbook login credentials with any other individual.
- Attempt to access dashboard data belonging to other users.
- Use the app for non-educational or non-professional milestone purposes.
- Use the app for commercial advertising, marketing, or promotional activities.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate workspace suspension or complete account termination.
7. Account Removal and Penalties
If any breach of this EULA, the privacy policy, or institutional policy is reported or detected:
- Your user account may be suspended or permanently removed.
- Your access to the cloud environment may be restricted.
- Your training organization may be notified, where required by policy or institutional rules.

You may face penalties under Google Play developer distribution policies, which may include:
- Account suspension.
- Application access restrictions.
- Reporting to the developer platform for policy violations.
The developer reserves the right to take administrative action without prior notice in cases involving user safety, data breaches, or legal violations.
8. Data Storage and Security
MedLog Pro uses Firebase cloud services for secure operational storage. While industry‑standard security and encryption measures are fully implemented, no system is completely immune to electronic risks.
Users must:
- Avoid uploading unnecessary, directly identifiable personal information.
- Use strong authentication practices and protect their account login credentials.
- Report any suspected database breach or unauthorized access immediately to support.
The developer is not responsible for security updates compromised by user negligence or institutional policy violations.
9. License Grant
You are granted a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use MedLog Pro solely for:
- Professional training milestone documentation.
- Technical operational logs tracking.
- Academic curriculum portfolio‑building purposes.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the application source layers or any part of it.
10. Termination
This software license is effective until terminated. The developer may terminate your access to MedLog Pro if:
- You violate any term of this EULA.
- You misuse academic log information or user datasets.
- You breach institutional confidentiality or data handling obligations.
- You violate Google Play Developer Program policies.
- You engage in unethical or illegal operational conduct.
Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the app and completely wipe all stored data obtained or generated through the app, in accordance with your institutional compliance guidelines.
11. Disclaimer of Warranty
MedLog Pro is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
The developer does not guarantee:
- The absolute accuracy or completeness of training logs entered by users.
- Continuous availability, uptime, or baseline performance of Firebase cloud instances.
- Compliance of your individual use of the app with local institutional regulations.
- Suitability of the application for clinical decision‑making or any operational diagnostic determinations.
The application is strictly a tracking and portfolio documentation tool and must never be relied upon as a primary decision support system.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use MedLog Pro.

The developer is not liable for any loss, dashboard failure, or legal consequences arising from the misuse of the application or training tracking details.

You are fully responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy protocols, data permissions, and institutional regulations.
13. Governing Law
This EULA is governed by the laws applicable in Pakistan, unless superseded by institutional or international regulatory frameworks that natively apply to your use of the application.
